The Sunday Picture Show... (8-12-2018) . . . (OLD Show look at the DATE...)

View attachment 965006 View attachment 965007 Good eye. The barrels were too long for the handle. Instead of shortening the barrels, I just pushed them in the holes. I didn’t notice that one had loosened until after I posted the picture. My Gold plated screws have a smaller heads than the ones Buck used. I will probably use the black screws in future.
The spring holder with the lanyard hole cannot use the D cross section T-nuts. So round barrels must be used in place of the D barrels. If I shorten a barrel, it will have ragged end. The same with a shortened screw. I put the ragged pieces together with red LocTite. This turns the combination into a T-nut. You need 2 tools to tighten or loosen the screw set, but only 1 screw comes out of the barrel.
The knife handle slabs have round (1/8”) holes at the butt end. The only D holes are in the Buck spring holder.
