The Sunday Picture Show... (8-21-2011)

I'm not crazy about how that outdoor pic turned out, so I tried again in a more "controlled" environment.

Tony, nice pictures of your Hoodlum in action...:thumbup::thumbup:
So how do you like using that big boy... ... ITE

I really like the knife ITE. However, chopping corn stalks is not it's strong suit. It could use some extra weight for that task. I like to cut as many stalks as I can reach in one swing. It is very good at processing firewood. Batons well and easy to handle for more fine work such as making fuzz sticks. The light weight does make it a breeze to pack. If you've never handled one, I promise you will first be suprised at how light it is.

JB, I like the clean look on that knife!

Great knives everyone! Sunday is always a treat.

I have been off the site for a couple of months as I have just been so busy I haven't had time for many things I like to do. So, I am hoping things have settled down a bit and I can stop in a bit more often.

Here are a couple of knives I finished earlier this month. The first is a Malachite and Chrysocolla mix from Peru and the second is a Morrocan agate.

Hi Michael -

Good to see you here! I am still loving that Pictured Jasper Trapper, it is one of the prides of my collection.

I always note your Bucks on the 'bay - Someday!

To all - thank you for the pictures; always one of the highlights of my Sunday. Today my granddaughters were here most of the day, so I had my hands full, happily so.

best regards -

Just today I picked up the Custom Buck 110 Leroy made for me (I made him a Carbon fiber one recently) and boy is it a beauty!

He pulled out of the archives a vintage Triple R blade for it. NS Bolster, Armadillo shell scales and micarta spacers. It is one of the 2 Custom Buck 110's I own. The other is by (recently back for a visit, nice to see you here again!) Michael Hoover. Masters of their craft.
I am thankful to both for their skills, efforts, and kindness.
