The Sunday Picture Show... (8-31-2014)

There's time for more pictures snd it Fun Time here on the SPS...

So lets have some fun... It's been a long day for us... ITE ... ;)

A while back on the SPS, I showed my customized custom 110 that i put maple scales on. The finish sucked and could be dented with my fingernail. So, based on a recommendation from you guys, I used Super Glue. It has held up perfectly for a whole month already :) Here it is, my "Updated Customized Custom Shop Buck 110 Folding Hunter Lockback Folding Hunting Pocket Knife with Super Glue Finished Maple Scales, Brass Bolsters, and an S30V Blade":

Also, in other news, we've got a rat problem. I put out a pile of corn to get 'em to come out in the open where I can shoot 'em. :) I put out a camera to get an idea of how many we've got. With that said, here's my "wildlife" pictures!

Based on the size of items in the background, from nose to tail this rat is over a foot and a half long... :barf: Can't wait for my pellet rifle to get here in the mail ;)

Here is a few photo's of the 909 I sold to a fellow collector. Note the Harley Bowie is the same knife as the 909 with a gold etch. Also note the size of the 909 with the 903.

Here's my 501 that I just finished re-handling in ebony. It was my first attempt at anything like this, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Made a few mistakes along the way, but had some fun doing it. The only power tool used was a Dremel for removing the scales. I also want to thank Stumps, cause his walkthrough thread on re-handling helped me out a lot.

I think they are fun to do….nice job!

A highly polished black ebony is one of my favorite wood knife handles.

I like seeing the different work done on the scale the maple and the Black Ebony are very nice indeed. Seeing the Maple reminded me that I had done a 112 in Maple some time back, it is one of my EDC but has not been out lately.

I really enjoy playing with scale as time allows. This 112 had been chopped fairly badly before I found it, if I remember correctly it was my second or third Buck and figure the worst that can happen is I would loose a minor investment. No problem

GOOD LORD! You may need a shot gun for that one! That 110 turned out sweet! With a tube of superglue and a role a duct tape, you can just about do fix anything

Great show!!!! Everyone thank you so much for the great friendship and awesome Buck knives! Without you Armand I would have nothing to do or enjoy on Sundays! I am going through a turning point in my life and I do have to let some if my collection go :( but I will never be gone!

Wow! Some of the most impressive bucks in a while!!
I have no new stuff to add, so will add an old photo a bit late ;)

A couple rescaled Bucks :)

Awesome!
Hey, use a buffing wheel and some green compound, that will mirror polish the nickel silver, and make the ebony shiny as heck!

Thanks for the great show everyone that posted...

Great Picture and Beautiful Bucks for sure...

ITE ...
