Those are fantastic James thanks for sharing your knife photo's. Yes I do wish Buck was as good as Aurum was, however they are knife makers not etch pro's. Here is a link to some Aurum info, the etch on the 103 of a Mountain man is the image that was put on a 905 and is my ultimate Grail knife!

Here is my favorite production gold gold etch Buck knife, the detail is amazing.

DP77, thanks for the photo's of your fantastic collection. Your 4 Gen 905 etch is different than that of the 4 Gen 903, I like the back ground on yours better. The 903 4 Gen was done by Joe H with Elk shoe's for one of the factory sale days, lucky find for me.

Wow James, tell me about that deep etch with gold duck 110 it's beautiful!

DP77, the 4 color Eagle is in a class of it's own. There is also a 4 color Ducks proto that never made it to production.

hi jb-yep thanks that 905 is a cool one ,joe told me that it was the actual knife that was used in the 2010 catalog picture , I acquired it from an employee in the now custom knife shop , right place right time I bought over 20 knives from her 5 years ago...I will probably keep it for awhile...I do like the 903 one also , but I do actually like all of the tattooed knives they are just awesome....
I wish they would get more going at some time in the future....

You guys are killing me you have some beautiful knives ☆☆☆☆☆ Great pictures, keep them coming.

Thanks, ITE

JB - That 110 with the duck etch is a sample knife that never went into production according to the COA that came with the knife.
