I think Stevens Skylar still has one of these 103's
knives... There was only 3 of these blades made
for the 103's...
Yes Armand, thank you for the photo's. Those three knives were the first gold etch test blades made in the buck factory as they took over the gold etching process from Aurum. I just love the subject in that etching and the detail is also awesome....lust at first sight for me. So just imagine when I saw that etch on a 905 Mountain man bowie with a crown stag handle on the big auction site. When it first showed up it was way over priced, it kept getting relisted, over and over and over for a year with no price drop. Then one day the relist price was 1/2 of the original listing price.....Oh Ya! But, it was going to end when I was away on a hunting trip. I posted my bid before I left and lost the bid by $5, heartbroken and still haunted by that grail knife to this day

I was told that one of the BCCI guys is the one who bought it. They will not even respond to my contact attempts as I would love to get a good photo of that knife. Such is life, maybe one day that knife and I will make contact
