ITE looks like a handy tool!

Here's my super strong, light, agile and sharp Ninja 110 S30v, after a run in with a couple of stock 110's they didn't survive

Hello,

This is my old, newly revised Field Mate, by one of the nicest fellows to take part in the Buck forum. I will let him chime in to ID himself if he wishes. This was done as a gift to my son who was 8 1/2 at the time, now he is ten and really cherishes his knife. I will say that this was one of the nicest things anyone has done for me....period. It came at a very good time as I just lost my only brother, and allowed me to focus on my son during that time of healing. The knife means more to my son and I than the nicest fellow at Buck will ever know, I am greatful to him, thank you!

My new JAG Buck 110. I'll be sure to not put it into my safe with my collection of 110's. I don't want it to go "ninja" on them.

Over in another thread if was brought up about mismatched blades in Buck 300 series folders. Yes, it has happened in the past, the tread was about the 310 Whittler with a 309 Companion stamped main clip blade. Other models have suffered this in the past as well. Grain of salt here for thoughts, except for the 310/309 all the rest were camillus contract. Tang stamps will continue to frustrate us for a long time to come.............. 300Bucks

The 319 Rancher and the good ole 301 share the same knife shape and did share a blade or two at the end of production runs when regular stamped blades ran out. Don't have a 319 with a 301 blade but there were many many more 301s made than 319s so there should likely have been extra 301 blades.

Here is a 321 Bird Knife with a 313 Trapper blade, I have never seen the opposite also. Maybe same deal more 313s made than 321s.

309/310. Bass Pro was the only one selling these and I guess the 309 blade was acceptable since they were already and will continue in the 309 production. My latest BP thick catalog was not showing them but BF member reports they are on website. If you want one that says 310 you will have to view a tang before purchase and look for a older one.

This old 3Ditter must have been in a tackle box before I got 'er. It neede a new blade pivot pin and lots of other work. I don't mind the pits in the blade at all...
It is on my hip pretty regularly and is one of the smoothest openers I have...(polished the lockbar & radius)
Sorry about the cell phone quality of the pic....
