I did put a clip point on the 103. David M showed one a couple of times and I loved how it looked. This practice 103 turned out ok, longer blade than the 212. Kinda looks like a mini bowie. Ill probably do the same to a 5160 version and put some stacked leather on for a handle to jazz it up a bit.View attachment 1422507 View attachment 1422508
Live the bias cut on that 110, I believe I've also seen it used on some of the early BuckLocks.
Well Mike... she'd be 18...I'm not sure how to date a 2002.....

A 120 BUCK* from 1966. I had been under the impression the BUCK* was 1967.
Cool, thanks for the info.Wow, a great find. Here is a post I made in 2017. Interestingly it was also a 120. I did not have my poker face on and the dealer decided not to sell it after I showed too much interest and put it under the table.
At the knife show today I saw an ANIB Buck 120 General with a 'BUCK*' tang stamp.
Included in the box was a November 1966 purchase date. At least for the 120 that moves the date for the (*) back a little. My understanding was the 'BUCK' only stamp ran into early 1967 before transitioning to 'BUCK*' and then 'BUCK/USA' all in the same year. Not all models may have followed the exact timeline and like with all things BUCK datewise, +/- always seems to apply. /Roger
I do know this handle material was used on the Harley Davidson Heritage Series on the IX Edition. It really is a vibrant green and looks good paired with the gold buckcote blade.Live the bias cut on that 110, I believe I've also seen it used on some of the early BuckLocks.
