Here is the link to a 2002 Thread on these. It might be possible to infer from Joe Houser's post that possibly a non equal number of each were made. Alternatively, is it possible that the entire run of about 5,000 knives for both variations were numbered sequentially and not separately? We need Joe H. to wade in on this one.

Well, then - I found a picute from Dave's displays He showed at
the annual Meeting in Post Falls. Second row from the right: The
three knives on the bottom - as I can see these are the
three sineu 110. Now I'm searching for a better picture that they
are identificalble for sure.

Yes, David, that's true. But the shown 110s in '08 was still a selection.

As I remember it is a prototype for the 186 from Phrobis
