It's an easy one to forget. The unfinished Ironwood handels look terrible IMHO, still had to add one to the pile though!

I never really thought they looked that bad but always thought they did look like they need the wood to be sanded a little more. I'm not sure what they went for from BP but picked mine up off the bay for $38. I don't know one of these days I might use some fine grit paper on mine and see what happens since I never really worry about resale value.

kyhunt jb4570 Bob Timberlake Ironwood 303 limited edition was not in the catalog or special projects lists. Previous Bob Timberlake issues were thru Bass Pro. Rumored that this was a special order declined by Bass Pro because of dissatisfaction over the Ironwood scales. I purchased mine thru a Buck dealer/reseller at a gun show in 2013. The knife date code is 2007 and the box date is 05-22-08.

I honestly don't mind it. It is a little rough. I might actually get mine out this week and play around with it.

I like the iron wood too. I even like the plane jane ebony Buck uses.
