Hi All & Happy SPS,

Thank you Roger for hosting this fantastic weekly event. In addition, thank you to each of you who posts photos or adds to the conversations.

Sorry for the late post, had to work today. Here in central CA we were up against the bad weather, light rain all day and the fridged temprature of 56 deg. I do love the Mini Alpha's so I hope you don't mind if I post a few (kinda like ground hog day you've seen them before).

The Elk scaled 196's, the one with the filed edges all the way around the handle (A WBC trademark) was an LE catalog knife from 2003. The elk scaled one like in my first photo above was a SO for Bass Pro shop. These knives were both ATS-34.

Thanks for that explanation. My 196 came without box so I had no clue about origin.

Sorry for the late reply, but thank you. I searched high and low for them around me, in the end I ordered them from the bay. They did a great job with these and I am happy!
