I like the 500! I don't collect them because at the very first Blade Show a BCCI member had and displayed virtually every single model 500 Buck made. I ordered these two as gifts for my Brother in law and Kathy's Dad with my BCCI discount..A truly great Buck!

Good Afternoon folks. I stuck this pic in the Latest Buck Thread but thought I would stick it here also.
The top 110 is a two line right side.
The little 539 I traded for yesterday. Will be a nice little skinner hopefully
The bottom 110 is a one line BUCK. Very light on the Buck..
Just using the 110s for size comparison and those were laying on the desk.
Apologizes for not shining them up any better.

LOOK at the last picture preston--broken tip all beat up--yep great character but you know how i like my knives..

I could certainly help you make up a story around the broken tip that would add to the character...not that you'd need any help with that. Just thought I'd offer

The old and new... top is from the 80’s, bottom is a 2013. Both are great knives, but I prefer the grind on the old ones.

You'll really like that 539. One of my favorite knives. If the blade was an inch longer it would be the best.
