The Sunday Picture Show (January 31, 2021)

Wow, what a great show of 500's today. Thank you all for showing. I'm jealous of those of you who have managed to acquire the 500 etched bird sets.
Remember everyone, all Bucks are wanted for the show, not just what I start with.

kossetx.... the engraver really did go overboard on that 119... he definitely does not have old man eyes to do it.

This one is for jbmonkey..... a plain ordinary 500 for the show.
They don't get any plainer than no pins. :)
I've shown this one before, it has a strange "oxidization" or discoloring of the blade that outlines the closure area.

Good grief there's some spectacular knives being shown... almost makes me want to wait until next weeks SPS to post this.

My recent "tinkering" endeavor, a plain Jane 279 folding Alpha Hunter that came with black rubber handles. I made new shoes for it from Lace Maple.

Top view.?

That is a nice one Mike. the roundover makes it look like an entirely different knife. Is it a factory custom, Houser perhaps, or aftermarket modification?

Yeah that's cool.
I've always thought the 113 makes a great fixed blade edc.
But those factory handles are too square.
It's nice to see that hiding inside those square sides is such a good looking knife.
