Hello and welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. Share your Buck knives with others by posting pictures of them here. New or old, plain or custom, user or safe queen, one or a collection, we love to see them all. This weekly tradition was started in 2010 by ItsTooEarly (Armand Hernandez) and Oregon (Steve Dunn). Help keep the tradition alive. Feel free to click that 'LIKE' but lets not let it replace discussing and complimenting each others knives. Above all, enjoy the show. DeSotoSky (Roger Yost)
Something a little different this week, another knife that begins with a 'B'...Browning. This Browning model 574 is a beautiful knife with a flat ground blade and a gorgeous brown curly Maple handle. I don't know how you could find a prettier piece of wood for a knife handle. These were part of Browning's Mastersmith Series. The Mastersmith in this case being John Fitch. Serialized to 500, 600 were actually made. I believe the additional 100 were salesman samples and possibly marked 'SS'.
addendum: These knives were made for Browning by Buck and are documented on the 2007 Special Projects list as the Buck model 609.
