The Sunday Picture Show (July 11, 2021)

This one might be my favorite.

Great show everyone! A few more Alpha's, the knives on the blue velvet are not easy to look at as the velvet reflected the light to well. However, the knives in the photo were from one of the Buck buildout sales list (fantastic).

Another SPS with some great knives. Thanks to all that contribute and of course to Roger for keeping this fine tradition alive.

My rubber Alpha folder that I re-handled with Laced Maple.

I've been trying to decide whether or not to leave it plain or embellish it with some kind of a Anso pattern, like the example below that I found on the internet. There's also a smaller diamond style pattern that looked interesting.

new bucks too collect. Say it ain’t so!!!

The SPS has been the single most threat to my credit cards, after seeing and learning about knife models that I was completely unaware of their existence... the obsession soon follows... I must have one... I must have have one.

The siren call that's all too familiar with many of us here, and the Star Trek BORG admonishment has never rung truer.... "resistance is futile" :) .

The SPS affects many of us that way. The All Stag and Ivory Buck Thread is another you might not want to look at ;-)

And there are a couple of years-long picture threads over in the CRK forum that will completely destroy your knife budget if you let them get under your skin.

You've been warned.

I love this set, Still don't have the top one in my pile!
Great show with lots of great knives. Thank you everyone.

Here I have a raindrop damascus 194 with natural camel bone handle scales.

Love the DM Alpha variation, back when Sara Buck was running the Buck store I asked her to add the 196 Mini Alpha to the Custom shop as I wanted a DM variation for my collection. A few month's later she sent me an email and said the Alpha was going into the Custom shop line up. I was so excided and could not wait. Then when the Alpha did sow up it was the large Alpha not the 196 :( so sad and the price for me at the time was cost prohibitive! Also, nice to see Wonderboy's Gut Hook variation.
