Hello and welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. Share your Buck knives with others by posting pictures of them here. New or old, plain or custom, user or safe queen, one or a collection, we love to see them all. This weekly tradition was started in 2010 by ItsTooEarly (Armand Hernandez) and Oregon (Steve Dunn). Help keep the tradition alive. Feel free to click that 'LIKE' but lets not let it replace discussing and complimenting each others knives. Above all, enjoy the show. DeSotoSky (Roger Yost)

I have a large collection of Buck fillets and this week I'll share a few. Hopefully the rest of you will fill in the gaps. First up a have a 125 StreamMate and 127 OceanMate with Yellow Kraton handles. They are listed but not pictured in the 1984-1986 catalogs. The StreamMate has a 4.5" blade and the OceanMate is 9". The catalog refered to the color as "Nautical Yellow". The yellow Kraton knives came with black leahter sheaths as opposed to the normal brown leather. The steel is listed as "rust resistant, high chrome, high carbon steel", I assume it is 425M. Not shown is the Yellow 6.5" LakeMate. I have two of them but dang if I could find them for a photo tonight. The 123 Kraton handled fillet was introduced in the 1983 catalog and joined by the 125 and 127 in 1984. 1985 finds the 121 renamed from Fisherman to the Guide.

Up next is a model 123N1 LakeMate with serrated blade. This one is date code 1989. I did not find the 123N1 with a quick look in the catalog but 1990 shows 4 other "N1" code serrated knives. The 301N1, 105N1, 110N1 and 426N1. To find all 5 1990 serrated knives would be a collecting accomplishment.

One more oddball the model 129 "Fillet with Spoon". Same as the model 123 LakeMate in design, they are listed in the 1989 to 1991 catalogs. I assume the spoon is for gutting/cleaning. If you did not catch any fish you could use it to eat the can of beans you brought along as emergency rations.

A couple of 539 TruBlue fillet knives. Top one has the discontinued Sawby lock system (1988) and the bottom one has Blue Honeycomb handles (1990).

Sometimes when you start looking for something, you find something else that is a surprise. I have no idea where I got this and it has no model number. It's about the same size as the 123. Who will identify this for me? The knife has a 2011 date code and a full length exposed tang.
