Hello and welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. Share your Buck knives with others by posting pictures of them here. New or old, plain or custom, user or safe queen, one or a collection, we love to see them all. This weekly tradition was started in 2010 by ItsTooEarly (Armand Hernandez) and Oregon (Steve Dunn). Help keep the tradition alive. Feel free to click that 'LIKE' but lets not let it replace discussing and complimenting each others knives. Above all, enjoy the show. DeSotoSky (Roger Yost)

This day in history November 13, 1985 37 years ago Nevado del Ruiz volcano erupts in Colombia, resulting mudflows wipe out the town of Armero. It was not considered a large eruption but the heat melted glaciers capping the volcano creating mudflows that swept down from the volcano at high velocity killing 23,000+ people. This event made the list at number 4 of volcanic eruption death tolls.
#1 71,000 to 250,000+ est Mount Tambora 1815 Indonesia
#2 36,000+ Krakatoa 1883 Indonesia
#3 30,000 Mount Pelee 1902 Martinique
#4 23,000 Nevado del Ruiz 1985 Columbia
#7 13,000+ Mount Vesuvius 79 Italy

First snow here in St Louis early a.m. Saturday. This week I'm showing a white handled 120 to go with the white on the ground. A custom 120 I fished out of the Bay a few years ago. It came to me naked, no sheath, box, or information. I've paired it with a custom sheath I had in my extras box. The sale description was "bone" but I think it is stag. I think it is a contemporary customization on an older blade. The 3-line stamp gives little clue to the blade's age but I'm thinking it is a 425m steel so 82-85 based on the grind. The handle with aluminum spacers is excellently done, its no hack job. The knife looks to me like the type of thing Joe Houser would have done.

Thanks for this Sunday Picture Show Roger and thanks to those who post photos and comments.

I had a skiff of snow the other day, winter is coming.

This 192 Vanguard was a web special a few years back, I like stag with very little bark and it has a mirror polished blade, lovely...
