jb4570 jb4570 Wow, thanks for showing your folding Alpha Hunters, your 4 plus mine makes 5 variations. I have a question, 2 have yellowed handle scales and 2 are very white. Are the all the same material? My Antler knife came without box or COA. Did any of yours have COA's that state the handle material? The Antler knife was Smoky Mountain. Were any of these in the Buck catalog? I'm off to look....

edit..I did not find any of them in the Buck catalog ('03-'06)

The color variation you are seeing is from the images. The yellow top image is an old scan image (I have been noticing the old scans are changing) the bottom image is a digital camera image. Before I got a digital camera All the images I took were with a scanner, now some of those scanned images on the hosting site thumbnail images look like there is smoke in front of the knife and when I open the image to full size the smoke is gone. However, image quality is failing.

I got them one at a time off the bay no boxes or paperwork. The one with plane handle was a Buck buildout. The BCCI LE/SO list shows the Eagle & Deer were issued in 2003 made for Harrison & Associates (BCCI news letter), The stacked Antlers was issued in 2005, made for SMKW (BCCI news letter). However, not listed as to who they were made for on BCCI LE/SO list.

Here are photos I just took, you can see they are still bright white not yellow.
