Hello and welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. Share your Buck knives with others by posting pictures of them here. New or old, plain or custom, user or safe queen, one or a collection, we love to see them all. This weekly tradition was started in 2010 by ItsTooEarly (Armand Hernandez) and Oregon (Steve Dunn). Help keep the tradition alive. Feel free to click that 'LIKE' but lets not let it replace discussing and complimenting each others knives. Above all, enjoy the show. DeSotoSky (Roger Yost)

Tacoma Narrows Bridge collapse.

For this weeks show I have the model 170 HTA-I and 175 HTA-II. The smaller 170 sports a 2.5" blade and the 175 is 3". I was never fully sure but I believe "HTA" stood for High Tech Aluminum. I took a look in the catalogs and they first appear in the 1998 addendum. Not around very long, the 170 lasts until 2002 and the 175 is last seen in the 2003 catalog. I have a pretty good sub collection of them, I dont show them all but hopefully a good selection to wet your appetite to find some for yourselves. There are a bunch out there to find. Available in a wide variety of colors and wonderful images. Many of the wildlife images were about the year 2000 in a quantity of 2000 so the chances of finding them is good. They came in a variety of boxes. Standard cardboard, black 2pc LE, and nice form fitting wood. Not shown is the model 176 in ATS-34. It came in two handles, carbon fiber and gold. Another good one to find would be the 175 with inlet colored stones.

I've recently become interested in the colorful 297 Sirus series... I'm not a fan of how the assisted opening mechanism lock is positioned on the spine so it gets in the way, but I like what Buck tired with the artistic flair of the series and they are neat drop point blades.

Thank you Roger, for another informative Sunday Picture Show. Also, thank you to all who post photos and comment in the thread.
I don't own any of the 170, 175 or 176s.
I'm not a fan of liner locks, serrated blades, or off-shore products, so I'm not sure why I have this 751 Approach. 🤔 Probably 'cause I'm a 'pack-rat' and can't get rid of stuff.
The back of the clam pack has an illustration and explanation of the edge 2000.

Roger, it's interesting that some of your examples have Torx fasteners and some don't. Have you taken any of those apart?

Aw shucks Preston, I only look at the pretty pictures......
You looked at them with a fresh eye and saw what I did not. I'm curious now, I wonder if there is a date/age relation to the use of rivits.
When I get a chance I'll pull them back out of their boxes and see.

Makael Makael Love that Mammoth Tooth. That is a really special pair, desireable Custom and 2005 date code symbols and each with different colors and premium steels.

IDhorace IDhorace Makes me wish I had thought about the Moroccan Agate 110's. That is a really nice photo display.
