Hello and welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. Share your Buck knives with others by posting pictures of them here. New or old, plain or custom, user or safe queen, one or a collection, we love to see them all. This weekly tradition was started in 2010 by ItsTooEarly (Armand Hernandez) and Oregon (Steve Dunn). Help keep the tradition alive. Feel free to click that 'LIKE' but lets not let it replace discussing and complimenting each others knives. Above all, enjoy the show. DeSotoSky (Roger Yost)

For this weeks show I have the model 170 HTA-I and 175 HTA-II. The smaller 170 sports a 2.5" blade and the 175 is 3". I was never fully sure but I believe "HTA" stood for High Tech Aluminum. I took a look in the catalogs and they first appear in the 1998 addendum. Not around very long, the 170 lasts until 2002 and the 175 is last seen in the 2003 catalog. I have a pretty good sub collection of them, I dont show them all but hopefully a good selection to wet your appetite to find some for yourselves. There are a bunch out there to find. Available in a wide variety of colors and wonderful images. Many of the wildlife images were about the year 2000 in a quantity of 2000 so the chances of finding them is good. They came in a variety of boxes. Standard cardboard, black 2pc LE, and nice form fitting wood. Not shown is the model 176 in ATS-34. It came in two handles, carbon fiber and gold. Another good one to find would be the 175 with inlet colored stones.
