OK, got it, an ancient geologic feature, not a place. Roughly along Rt 27 from Clermont to Venus.
Mosquito County was most of East Central Florida until 1844.

you got it. a bunch of places that are a ridge of scrub land. correct.

if ya back on the map and see more of the state you'll see the yellow colored on Google maps of the former islands of the ridge......

nice I like white g10...think, but not sure, color won't yellow on g10 over time.....and sure looks good.

That's pretty interesting. Now I know where to drive to if I'm ever in Florida and the Big Wave is coming.

We have one up here as well called the Arden Ridge. It's a little younger though, only about 11,000 years, give or take a few centuries. It would have been some fantastic lakefront property back then when it looked out over the largest ever freshwater lake in North America. Now it's just a bunch of dunes along farm land.

I almost grabbed those white G10 versions but didn't. Now I'm kicking myself.
