This thread wouldn't be complete without the 539 TruBlue with Sawby lock. Made in 1989 and discontinued in 1990 due to problems with the lock failing with the back of the blade was hit
on something close to the tip.

Good deals available on handy man specials in Florida right now if you want to get back into boating.
I wonder how many fish have been cleaned by kids with one of those cheap gas station pocket knives. You know, the one with the scaler and fish hook prong as a second blade.

Or cleaned by the knife within the wooden ruler rectangle. Ruler, knife and fish scaler in one tool.

And if you are out fishing in Kentucky you will have a great Buck to filet them! I really get the 'practical pattern' Bucks..But DO like the great big blade Bucks from that era..
