The Sunday Picture Show (October 20th, 2024)

RickHuf RickHuf Nice picture. Hope to see more of you on the Sunday Picture Show.
Personal taste but never thought the long nic looked right on the 110.

Thanks!

I agree and personally I don't think the 110 or 112 even need a nail nick! I never used them anyways. Looks great without it.

This one is the 501. I still don't use the nail nick but it's ok I guess.

The was a less common early version of the 50th anniversary tang stamp without the word 'BUCK'.
The finger groove version with that early stamp has always eluded me. Thanks for sharing.

That's interesting, I was unaware of that thank you. I decided late in the year to pick up a couple 50th tang stamp 112s, I wasn't paying attention earlier in the year.

Yes Sir, I had just went to my first consert at the Oakland Coliseum I was 16 years old. Peter Frampton was top bill, there was a group I did not know playing that day. Lynyrd Skynyrd was their name. They stole the show, I went out and bought the 8 track tape on the way home. Then their plane crashed a few months later (So sad). The only song they played that I knew was Freebird that played 10 times a day on the radio.
47 years ago and Free Bird has about 78 million hits.

Well here's hoping I can post another picture.. I'm picking out a few to pass on and these 4 with Stag or Elk have been sitting on my desk for about 2 weeks. I REALLY like having a few nice Bucks just sitting out where I can pick them up and admire and/or play with them. David and Cindy came up for 3 days to get away from Milton and I had to stop him from from 'Sharpening then Up' with a little fine Arkansas Buck stone I had on the desk..
