The Superhawk Finally

Yeah if there's a TRUE-BLUE Hawkbill fan on this entire Forum it's my ol' buddy BLACKNINJA who by the way has been playing "hide-n-go seek" with the rest of us here in the last 3 to 4 months. I say there "BN"!!! What's the matter dude??!!! Cat got your tongue :D??

I think it's been well established that NOW IS THE TIME: FOR A NEW HAWKBILL.

I know the Great Spyder Factory has a lot on their plate at this time but Hawkbills are an institution among us most dedicated fans and not to mention one of the flagships of the Great Spyder Factory. We haven't seen anything super innovative since the Spyderhawk ( which I think should also be reintroduced as well).

That's another product that Spyderco manufactures and that is SUSPENSE  Because they sure keep us all on the edge of our chairs waiting for these new models. >>> But couldn't you all at least give us a hint maybe??????????

Sal probably has the superhawks sitting in a warehouse somewhere.... He just likes seeing people ask about them. :D

OK! I know some have asked for such a knife, how do you see yourself using it? It looks to me, to be a good box cutter and garden knife, or a good all around utility knife. SD Well maybe but I don't think that is its purpose, Please let me know if I am correct!

Thanks

Hawkbills are excellent at cutting into electric cabling because of the tip they don't cut into the wires, just through the jacket. Also, when you're way way up high having to stretch to cut some rope, the shape of the blade really helps bring the rope toward you while cutting.

Also, if you were to drop the knife from said height, (I haven't) but I highly doubt this would land point down...

I plan on getting the Stretch II and now I have to get the Superhawk as well, I really like the looks of the Superhawk and I love VG-10.

So, I'm sitting enjoying some decent single malt whisky, thinking dammit, I haven't heard from from the Spydie-House about this project in a loooong time.

Is this a dead duck, or are we to subsist on nothing more substantial than hope?

'08? '09? new???
