The Sweet 16 GAW Winner and Non-Winner picked!

Alright, things have not gone as planned! I know I've been MIA for awhile but today's the first day in awhile I've been able to sit down and type something other than emails for work. I apologize to all the entrants. We've had some great entries and I've really enjoyed the photos, stories and replies but the time has come to choose a winner. I used a random number generator and it gave me #11! Supratentorial's jawdropping half congress was certainly a worthy entry but it was also not an entry, so he does not win the R16. Close examination of the fine print requires that I send him something anyways. I'm sure I can find something to give him. Anyhow, I went back to the number generator and pulled up number #31! Ernie1980 with his extremely nice looking Boker Congress is the Winner of the R16!! Again, thanks to everyone who participated. It's been a blast and I'm already looking forward to my next GAW. Ernie and Supra, check your inboxes because I need shipping details.

Haha! Thank you for your generosity. I look forward to the mystery gift! :) :) Congrats, Ernie!

Congratulations to both the winners, and thanks Doc for holding a sweet GAW!
I had wanted to comment on the thread, but I didn't want to be included into the gaw. That R16 looks like one nice knife, but unfortunately I've got a track record of depriving my stainless knives of proper carry time.
So, now that I've avoided any "not an entry really means an entry" type shenanigans I give you my knife I think others should try.
The northwoods Presidential is my pick.

It was my second traditional knife that I got and really started my love for these sleek and useful little blades. The thing most useful about this knife is its ultra thin and pointy perfectly sized wharncliffe secondary blade. It has ultimately shaped what I look for in a knife. Two blades, straight edge secondary blade, carbon steel, these are all things that are just about a must for my new knife purchases.
Of course it is on the large side, but it does carry very well in jeans.

Congratulations Ernie! And thank you Dr-Mabuse for a great GAW. I hope things slow down for you soon and you have an opportunity for some good old fashioned relaxin'.

Congrats, Ernie; I hope you'll enjoy that fine Remington!
Thanks for the generous GAW, Doctor!!
And thanks for being a man of your word; can't wait to see what supratentorial won for not entering!! :D
