Canvas is my favorite, looks and feel. Id pay more for it (dont tell anyone) over G-10 or paper. I love the look of all of 'em, especially the black paper..but the feel in hand, the mottled look and patina of the canvas..does it for me.

Don't be sad. Tanker grey with black micarta is one of the best colour combo.

I don't like black g10, because it is shiny, but I like black micarta as it grows old and become black, real black.

If your knife is a safe queen, then black micarta is greyish, but if you use it a lot, it turns matte black.

Ohh, your right I just saw a pic with black micarta that was well used and it looked like what I want! I do agree and I prefer micarta in general it does feel better in the hand.

Well that's a bummer I was wanting black paper, to save on cost of the look I wanted, I am at 50/50 now on my terms of getting it.

Well it looks like the buy another busse 50 beat me again, and I went with the black g10 also.

BTW, before you start in on me, I own 4 Busse kin knives, Busse, Swamp Rat , Scrap Yard, so its not like I don't know the quality/value of the knives.

The primary problem in my mind, is that you buy all of these knives thinking "if I buy too many, I'll just sell some". Then the knives show up on your doorstep, and they're so damn nice that you don't want to part with them unless you absolutely have to.
