The term "user knife".....

Good point there, res1cue. Out of all the knives I own, I can legally carry exactly three of them. Now, if I'm leaving town, I can (and do) carry anything I want to, but that doesn't happen nearly as often as I'd like.

Have you had any fail to retract problems with your halo 5?

Twice. I't's just a coffee table toy, no real use.

hmm

as in the charging bar is off track or something? is it fixable? and did you ever contact MT? they may fix it or something.. i've heard good things about their customer service

From what I've heard on microholics, either the spring is kinked (like last time) or the stop pin on the blade tang is falling out of position and is dragging on the innards.

thats a shame....

hell of a knife, and i don't even really like otfs all that much

Totally...

I really love this Halo version. I recently obtained a Nemi4 and a UT Bayonet blade. No problems so far.

I would say I'm primarily a collector. For some reason I have noticed that "collecting" seems to get a bad rap around here. I have about 100 knives of various types and I do carry a knife everyday but only a handful end up leaving the knife roll and into the pocket for daily cutting duties. The knives I own are not really of any value on the seconday market. They are simply knives that caught my interest. I own way too many knives to try and convince anyone that they all get used. Some do, most don't.

Campaired to y'all I feel like a weekend user! I own less than 30 knives at the moment. This figure counts works in progress.

I don't have a big collection, but most of what I have I use. I enjoy the look of a well
used knife. Most of what I use my knives for is either on cardboard (at work) and food
prep (my lunch, dinner)
