Okay.
I'm bored.
Anyways I was looking at all my awesome knives and one in particular kept sticking out.
You know, like always asking for attention:

I wrote about this knife in my Unusual blades thread and it's reared it's ugly head.
Again.
Literally.
Ugly!
I'm not even sure why I bought this!
Hey! that's the first one: this knife is so ugly I don't know why I bought it!
This knife is so ugly cardboard cuts itself it don't want nothing to do with it!
This knife is so ugly...
You get the idea.
One more: this knife is so ugly it's actually starting to become beautiful! NOT.
Have some fun at my knife's expense.

Oh, if you have an ugly knife, well, not sure if you want to own up to that, but post it up anyways.

I don’t think it’s ugly at all kinda cool actually. I like anything with some aged white bone. Eye of the beholder I guess.

I don't know, I could see Drax carrying that as a backup...

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder for sure. Some people hate the way Spyderco's look, others love it (like me).

I've owned a few ugly knives. The ugliest was probably the Spyderco Jot Singh Khalsa which I only had a few days. Long story how it came into my hands but,

BLECH! That thing made Sloth from the Goonies look like a living Ken doll.

fickleness happens to the best of us.
sometimes we buy things on a whim
then, can't stand the sight of it later
eventually we start to toss things out.
but all is not waste.
your trash is a windfall to some
it's finders keepers :-)

:) Eye of the beholder !

Way back in the day , I initially thought that all the basic Spyderco designs were extremely weird and ugly .

But after handling and using one , a first gen Police model , my perceptions were altered entirely . Became my favorite EDC for many years .

Functional is beautiful , IMO . :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Probably not a popular opinion but for me it's the Southard. Mismatched sides which runs a fingernail down the plaster of my brain and the single scale is poop brown and poop shaped.

I never could get into the Southard. Despite being shite brown, the ZT 0561 wore it better. Despite the weight and bulk, I occasionally miss that knife.

Just because it's ugly doesn't make it bad though. I prefer something interesting to run of the mill. It's why I don't own any knife with G-10 or frn. Just so boring, especially black.

I'd rather have something unique and functional versus pretty but useless. Pretty and functional is even better. Despite it's beauty, my Twist Tighe rams into people's spinal cords as well as anything else I own.
