The trade shop

Trying to clean house here:
Buck 112 auto conversion, unused, but shows bolster wear
Moore maker D2 blade, shows a little corrosion on blade, still in great shape, blade has some side to side play]
Send me an email and I'll send a trade offer.
Thanks,
Will

This is a Woodsbear Brown Bear. Bamboo scales. Stainless pins. 5" blade, 10" overall. 5/32" thick O1 blade. (Sorry the 2nd pic is a little out of focus, I'm not much for taking pictures). This is a good knife, it is just too thick for me (that's what she said:D) and I just don't use it, though it has seen a little... I much prefer a Mora-like thickness when it comes to a scandi grind. The spots on the blade are from trying to use a paper towel to force a patina, which is why I just let them form naturally over time these days. The JRE sheath is included since it came with the knife.

I really don't have anything specific in mind for a trade (other than a knife of some sort) so if you are interested, just fling it at me and after a day or two we'll see if anything sticks.

I'm looking for a newer handheld gps unit. I'd much prefer a Garmin - something like the Dakota 20, the Oregon 600, or the gpsmap 64. I might consider other models, but it would have to have the custom map feature and I'd much prefer a bigger screen.

For trade I'd offer any combination of the knives I have listed for sale (link in sig).

Hey all,

The 4 severns flashlight I posted is now traded, i've also been asked about these two so here's some more pictures

Roberson633884, 3.75 closed, Sepintine stockman,

Here's the blades for both of them

this blade I'm pointing to on Number 1 is weak (it has no snap)

I also decided I wont be using this Wenger ranger 151 with pocket clip

top left in this picture

it has a liner lock (you can release it by pressing the white cross shield) and is partially serrated. has some handling marks but it has never cut anything.

My trades came in today, thanks WA Martin and Grandall (Think grandall might have got a raw deal from me looking at this Helle though,)

got my trade from Gradall today as well - along with a couple extra items.
you did good with that Helle.

Trying to revive this bad boy. if ya see anything of mine ya may be interested in let me know its rotting away in a drawer. open to offers.

been meaning to get a new picture now some tradings been done and some things have come in and gone out :)

I like the look of those traditionals Grandall, I'll poke around and see what's left here :p

thanks Grandall, haven't decided yet, despite it's sharpness I found a ding in the edge, so there's that to think about, maybe i'll make it a sheath and decide, it'll probably be moving on, since I have been so lucky to have a few new ones in lately and my kitchen is already dominated by the JK CBK.

Scales are Mytle wood, or some such :)

WOOOW! that looks good! cleaned her up nice! what ya planning on doing with it, user or seller/ trade knife? either way it looks cool! whats the handles?

What could I trade you for that Old Timer 93OT? Give me some idea, please.

Hmmmmm. not too sure. got any vintage signs, thermometers, and the like? how bout something with a pocket clip? or small sheath knife? Im easy. I like old stuff to hang on the walls or set in my shop....

updated trade picture

Also this one's still sitting in a shop here in eastern KY, so it's available

I plan on making a sheath for the butcher knife and I'm not really looking to lose the buck but they are just kinda sitting here so i thought i'd dangle the line and kick back on the shore line here for a while :)

i'm slowly waking up from hibernation, and just found this thread. Pete, great score on that Helle. i have always wanted one. an outfitter downtown carries them. have held a few...they's sharp.

i def have a bunch of stuff that i could part with. not stuff i am necessarily looking to get rid of, but i will see if anyone else is looking for something i have. i will try to post something up within the next couple days.

cool thread.

Well KY redid the butcher knife I sent him so I figured it only fair that I redo the rover he sent me. Plus we had a few wet days I couldnt work so I did her up. I cant take pics very good though. A while back I bought some snake wood and the guy sent me a sample block, good thing about a rover is ya dont need too much wood to make the handles nice. its not 100% yet but its starting to shine up nice.
