Here`s a rare wreck that I`ve posted in the past. A Rodgers quill knife in ivory with an extremely rare guillotine. You put the tip of the shaped quill through the `nail nick` in the scale and compress the master blade down which cuts the tip off just in front of the file. The mark is very worn but the knife is either Geo 4th or william 4th 1820-30.
Thanks CB, not sure what exactly it is I do, but I'm glad you enjoy it.
Ohh, that knife is looking really good by the way, tempting me to get my #73 out for some use.
I don't have a good pic of mine, so I'm borrowing this from Roger. It's an alox Victorinox Cadet II plus, or "micro-farmer" which features a saw and pen blade instead of the usual nail file.
