This here, my latest acquisition... Tucked away in a drawer for twenty years, sold on the internet, bought by lucky me. A 3 7/8" blade in a barely 4 1/2" handle, light and slim in the pocket, rock solid pivot, herculean spring, all steel build, nice rat-tailed and pinched bolsters, dense and translucent grey/amber horn scales, carbon steel blade that I got sharper than the devil's sister in about 4 passes on the Lansky... Love it, carry it constantly. Don't get fooled by the Melon Tester / Doctor Knife look. This is a sturdy peasant knife with huge slicing power. I put it to work !

It also has a hint of Sheffield sailor knife, hasn't it ? Whatever, the blade is very "plain jane" but it's cutting performance is uber sexy. I spent an evening slicing the tiniest possible sniplets of paper... Couldn't get tired of it. It's at razor grade...

Lovely :) Yes, it looks like a great (and very stylish) user. You can't beat great steel and good grinds :)
