Interesting! Didn't know Böker offered this in Dam.
I've got the carbon lockback in Washboard Bone, makes a very decent slicer too.
 
Yes, it is a great slicer. Its basketweave stainless from Devin Thomas. A real joy to use.

I'll join you with some outside shots on this lovely afternoon. I finally got some halfway decent pics of my grandad's Schrade 708Y. The catalog says the scales are delrin, but with the shrinkage I am wondering if they are celluloid.

Sorry about that. Hope I cleared it all up now. I like having access to all the pretty pictures and info on here, but I don't speak computer talk very well, and look fondly on simpler times.
