The TRADITIONAL sunday picture show!!!!

I'm with Sam, Robin, fantastic work

Happy Sunday Traditional folks :)

I had a package from Scrteened Porch this week with this cracking Ulster Scout Knife in, so it's been my main companion. Thanks a lot SP, very greatly appreciated :)

I missed this one. Super nice gift for the Screened Porch!! Great pic, Jack.

Thanks Gev, that's the first pic I've been able to take of it as circumstances have conspired against me this week. Even yesterday, when I went out for a walk, a combination of two closed footpaths and a torrential and prolonged downpour made things difficult.

Thanks again SP, great knife

Very nice sir!!!!  I was going to post my Pioneer with my Pop Tart...really glad I didn't! ;) :D

Did somebody say...Strawberry pop tart! Thanks SAK and you should post you pic. sir!

The weather just went south here too, my friend. I am doing a Sage Ceremony and a Tibetan Bon prayer for you now!!

Had this one out for it's frequent oiling and fondling. This is such a tight old knife, flush in all three and snaps like a bear trap. Here's some pics from last year when there was actually grass showing in this frozen wasteland. :o
Keep burning that Sage Gev, but I think a Sun Dance is what is called for.
Happy Sunday folks
Best regards

Robin

This week I have an old Queen 19A that I recently picked up. Great knife that has seen some hard times. I've enjoyed carrying it this past week and slowly getting the blades back to a razor edge. And this trapper really surprised me, those blades really took an edge. This little guy will bite.

Also, I have to give some recognition and thanks to David Clark at Queen Cutlery. I purchased this knife in an online auction. I didn't know much about QC knives but this one intrigued me and was cheap enough to take a chance. I pulled up the QC website and found David Clark listed as the Queen Cutlery historian. I e-mailed David asking the normal stuff, vintage, steel type and such. Within a few hours he had e-mailed back with the info!! Great job QC and thank you Mr Clark!!

I am still very new to BF and really enjoy these Sunday pic shows. Slipjoint knives just have so much personality, I can't help but be a fan of these beautiful pieces of functional art.

Fantastic knife, Robin!! That should keep you warm inside. Just in case ....more sage and Bon prayers for Sun going out.

Those Bökers are a very nice lockback. Got one in Washboard Bone and carbon-which gets a tasty edge on it.

Thanks, Will
