What wood is that on the 57?

It is really dark Cocobolo. In bad light it looks almost black with dark brown streaks, but in sunlight it glows bright red, quite fascinating to look at.

New guy here, a few recent additions.

I made this for the spawn...1/2 inch thick fibreglass with two layers of military grade kevlar through it..I suspect its bulletproof...Hand beat the copper out of old nails and pennies...Its a mans shield but he will grow into it...the big Al Mar suits it quite well so i guess im another knife down....All good !!......FES

Nice haul there Andi, especially the lockback. Inspired me to field another one from Germany, Böker lockback (carbon) in Washboard Bone about 4"/10cm.

Thanks Andi. The Washboard also comes in a green colour, I have a Whittler and Canoe in it. I think VERY highly of Böker Germany's Traditional knives, they're every bit as good as CASE and very reasonable price too.
