Thanks, the lockback whittler is a custom by Ken Erickson, my fault for the teaser pic that didn't show his mark. Will post it in Ken's thread when I get some more good pics. It's my sunday best.

I've had the pleasure of holding and admiring John new Erickson lock back whittler. Has some cool secondary blades as well. And as always John's photos show the quality very well.

You really captured the fire in that tortoise shell. The gold leaf really works wonders...along with your fine photography skills, of course.
