My son surprised me with this wee painting (6" x 6") last night.

It looks even better in person-- no sharp delineations in the background, for example, and more visible detail in the woodgrain covers on the knives. Any 'white' in the covers as seen above is a reflection off the canvas, not a feature of the work itself.

Thanks Rob. My wife bought sixty seven ties at an estate sale. She's going to create art with them!? It seemed to make a fitting background considering Easter Sunday may be the day of year more ties are worn than any other. The old feller had interesting taste didn't he?:barf:
