The TRADITIONAL sunday picture show!!!!

Hey Roch. Sure I can give you some info. That bottom knife is the first professional knife I ever owned. Got it in 1974 when I was just a dishwasher. It's a Dexter/Russell 12 inch carbon steel chef knife. I very rarely use it now. Still works when I need it:D.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info Neal. I was wondering if it was something to keep or not. It seemed too well made to be a junk knife but had no markings.
Thanks again,
William

Nugun, that Autumn bone, which makes me think Calico bone, looks great!

Pertinux, nice pic, looks like an edge you don't want to slip over!

Yes Scott, there's Saint Hilda's up on the cliff

One of the great joys of this forum is being able to see Jack's photo's of places I have only read of, or return to my old haunts in Appalachia with Sarah and her beautiful knives! Y'all have inspired me to get out and go somewhere!

Some of my favorite clips, for the sake of comparison.

Thanks, Jack! I'm getting better. I went back to 2013 to look at some of my first posts. I didn't remember my photos being so poor! I really am getting better. And I'm getting some great ideas from this thread! And from you, and Pertinux, and Primble, and Perry, and Todd Isa... Some real artists here. However, I may need to acquire another knife or two to get the compositions I'm aiming for...;)
