Was out playing with the light earlier today - group shot of my Buck fixed blades - except for the 113 Ranger (misplaced right now). OH

Oh My OH, That's a sweet collection!!!

Thank you sir!

B., I'm just curious, if you had to use just one of those to completely process a whitetail from skinning to butchering, which would you choose?

Jeff, my hands down favorite for skinning and cutting up a deer is the Buck 118 - not just my favorite Buck, but my favorite deer cleaning knife period. I've used the Buck 102, 105, 113, and the 118 to do the job, as well as a number of other brands, but the Buck 118 has the right amount of blade belly, a good blade length and width (not too wide), and a good handle size for gripping when wet. I've been thinking about buying another (just in case!) The only thing I don't like about my Buck 118 is the sheath that came with it - I would prefer either the original design (flap over) or the current design - the one I have is way too tight fitting around the blade. Thanks Old Hunter, I thought you'd say the 105, but the two are very similar. The extra length of the 105 would benefit the butchering, but the shorter more controllable 118 would benefit the skinning and gutting. Both good patterns, and a very nice collection. Thanks for the response.

Phil, my friend, I am following you up with this one :) Everyone has some great offerings today
