Hope everyone is having a happy and safe Sunday

A hundred years since the Somme, a year since the Bataclan.

I liked how this one came out. Have a great Sunday, everyone!

Definitely a nice composition Gary. The Chamblin WT and Lon Humphrey look like they compliment each other quite well.

Nice Jack! That one's been around the block a couple times and wears it's history with pride. ;):thumbup:

Thanks Bob

Absolutely, was just admiring the pairing in the EDC thread

Very Knice, one of my grail collectibles, the Old Timer Tobacco Tin set and the Colonial Dick Tracey knife and the red and yellow tipped Buck Rogers/space knife, on the cardboard display if possible. It was about 20 years ago, (yeah, this is the "one that got away" story) eBay was just starting out and I had the opportunity to buy a display card with all but one of the Spaceship knives. I bid up to $50, the bidding was moving quick and this was way before esnipe but had slowed to a crawl after about $35 I kept up till $50 then I gave up. Knowin' what I know now and havin' a little experience under my belt I probably woulda got it for another $5. Hindsight bein' 20/20 I wish I woulda continued, it woulda so been worth it.

Carryin' this puppy today with the 2016 Drover

I'm surprised to see this thread two weeks behind.

While the rest of the UK is being battered by storms - the Western Isles are a serene but cold place today.

Wow! What an incredible photo Paul, and beautiful weather I see :) Here, we have had a week of snow, rain, wind, and greyness! :( ;) Hope you're having a great Sunday mate

Carried this one a couple of times this week :)

Background pic is by the late great George Cummings, Sheffield cutler turned artist and author. St Silas Church is where my parents were married. I had a lot of friends who worked at the old Viners cutlery works.

Awesome shot, Paul! I'm glad I don't have to contend with ice and snow, but I sure do appreciate the aesthetics of it!

Happy Sunday everyone! Pic taken yesterday while enjoying the unseasonably nice weather...

Thanks Jack!

I can't picture the church, I expect it is still there but I don't know it myself. Beautiful jack too :)

That frost is amazing, really cool shot!

Thanks mate, there must be a very slight slope on the top of that fence post, as the warm steel melted the frost it acted as a runner and slowly slid off towards the loch. I had to be quick with my shutter finger

Lots of ice but relatively little snow here actually - the islands are too far from the mainland and too close to sea-level to ever get proper snow.

Time to prep for snow. Gonna shave some wax and heat up the ol' iron.
Up at our place at 8750 ft with Lanny's clip.

Now that looks like an awesome place to live :)
