I'm not much for spending big bucks for a beauty like this, but my employees needed a Christmas gift idea for me a few years ago. I love it, but all is does is sit in the dark in a drawer. God forbid I should risk scratching it!

The strain on teachers seems to increase every year. They are asked to do so much with their limited time. Teaching the material, covering the standards, supporting social/emotional well-being, preparing them for mandated testing, correcting certain behaviors, interventions, suicide prevention, technology training, safety training, and on and on and on... It's no wonder the average burn-out rate is three years.

We have a renewed joy in boating and nature this year after a few years not going as much.
Despite the pandemic this has been so far one of the best summers for us.
"Esperanza" means "Hope" in Spanish.
