Every time I see that beautiful knife I have to wonder who makes it . It ticks a lot of boxes for me . Thanks for showing it my friend .
Beautiful old Cripple Creek Charlie !!!! Bob Cargill did make some great knives and it is too bad that most of the pictures are most likely gone . But maybe your posting will get people to appreciate Cripple Creek knives again . I only have 1 in my stash .Good, old Sodbusters, @Modoc ED!!
Is there still a thread with all its pictures intact for Cripple Creek knives??
Neat 3 1/4" mini-trapper, made for Knife World (now Knife!)! I think it's the first one made for them, in 1982!! Bob Cargill was very fond of "matchstrikes"!!!
Another question; Eureka Trapper? Dogleg Trapper? What's it called??

I’m not the person who posted that picture, but I’m 99% sure that’s a Canal Street pinch lock. It looks like some kind of horn for the handle material.
Two major beauties! Outstanding pic too.Good Sunday to you. It’s a cold morning here in Santa Cruz.

Is that the stag Cripple Creek made by GEC in 2010 on the right? Super nice! I also absolutely love the old man shield on the Frank’s 12 from 2019. A perfect shield for this pattern!
I have that Cripple Creek as well - yours is a bit nicer of a specimen, but I love those old Cargill Cripple Creeks. Enjoy!Beautiful old Cripple Creek Charlie !!!! Still looking for the other two GEC-made Cripple Creeks from 2010 and a couple that interest me from GEC’s 2009-2011 run.
Something about this pattern brings me so much joy.
