The Traveling Spyderco Delica. . .

My apologies for the comms failure on my part. Should've contacted you both much sooner. It's headed your way though. Hopefully it'll arrive quickly.

Got a tracking number! The knife is now on it's way from Texas. I'll let y'all know as soon as it arrives. :)

It's here!

Sorry for the bad quality! I'll get some better ones up in the next coming days.

Early morning pico de gallo!

After a thorough cleaning, I put it to work helping me make brunch.

The edge didn't need any touch up coming from Bryce (no surprise) and it cut even the squishiest tomatoes with ease.

Time was pressing so I only did about half of the work with the Delica before switching to a processor.

Hah! Glad I left the edge on it that I did. Debated putting a mirror edge on it instead of the 600 grit. Mirror's nice, but the 600 deals with the tomato skin much better.

Sorry for the radio silence. Caught a bug that was going around.

Now I'm sat at home recovering from a wisdom tooth extraction. Waited too long for that to be done! Thy had some difficulty getting it out (had to call for reinforcements), but at least it's over!

In the states you lucky ducks get some good pain killers for this stuff. They give ibuprofen here... :(

Anyway, back to our scheduled programming.

The Delica assisted me in opening my chicken feed earlier:

Here are the little idiots:

We're expecting a baby in a few weeks and we recently ordered a crib.

The box needed to be broken down, so I of course grabbed the Delica.

I don't need to tell you that the ffg Delica excels at this task (although this box wanted to disintegrate more than slice).

Best thing I've found to remove tape gunk from a blade is nail polish remover. This one is nice as it makes your knives smell like peaches.

A few passes on the sharpmaker/strop and it's back hair-popping sharp.

Here's the crib I put together last weekend:

It would be cool if at the end you could engrave the total miles travelled and send that baby in to Spydero for them to display.
