So maybe Gunmerc is pulling our chain for fun, or maybe he really can afford and did order 5 satin AK47s. Assume that it is true. Why should that bother you?

No doubt, 28" is a LOT of blade. I've thought about getting something more managable in between my 11-14" blades and the katana, (Ko-, AK, Waki,) but I'm pretty comfortable with the full-sized sword and used to the size/heft for what I do with it. If I was trying to use it for anything more than pure entertainment, I would be more motivated to pick up something smaller and more nimble.

... I got me satin AK when they were LONG out of production. Just called up Lexi and asked, not thinking that the answer would be positive. She checked if there were any blanks left.... BINGO!!!!!
I got very lucky! ..... I asked her for some black G10 scales .... Luscious. I drool every time that I pick it up!

I got lucky aswell last spring with asking for a blank and got a blackblue g-10 but sold it to another canuck and totally regretted it till the latest AK offering! All black!
