How special to have that connection to your family through the knives, I will certainly post a pic when mine arrives. I looked at the Marble's as well and may purchase one down the line as the one I bought doesn't have the expandable ruler.

The vintage American ruler knife arrived (tang is stamped "EXECUTIVE, USA"), along with the Marble's Handyman's Helper II which has a rule that measures 16 in/40 cm long when extended. Love these knives!

Utica Knife and Razor Co sometime before 1929, when they became Utica Cutlery Co. BLR2 says they were manufacturers and wholesalers; apparently importers too.
