Hello,
If you accept a newcomer (French by the way) in the list, I would love a knife from the 2021 forum. :)
If not, it's not a big deal, I'll just look at your beautiful pictures as I already do for so many beautiful knives that I will never touch. ;)

Your photos in the daily totin’ thread are a joy, my friend. I am grateful you’ve become a regular contributor here.

A bit saddened to see it mentioned that some might get priority over others on this forum knife. Can I ask, what is a porch member?

I have been away for a while so forgive the question. Is micarta the only option? I have the 86 from 2019. I would really like one in stag

You're on the porch right now. The traditional knife subform is referred to as The Porch so anyone contributing to the traditional knife threads on a regular basis would be a porch member. Cheers

Why would that make you sad? Why wouldn't people who are contributing members of this community take precedence over others who do not participate, or who seemingly only show up whenever a new knife is announced? Not trying to be condescending or insulting, but I don't quite understand your point of view.

So far that is the mock up Bill provided to Charlie. It sounds like we might have some cover options to choose from. I'm sure Charlie will find out if any additional customizations are possible, but for myself since GEC previously announced the end SFOs I'm just glad Bill agreed to take on the project for us.

I'm quite disgusted with the attitudes of certain people trying to make up eligibility requirements that suit them and lord access to this knife over others.
It’s quite comical, isn’t it?

I can see that it could be annoying seeing so many brand new faces joining BF just to score this knife, then vanish like a fart in the wind, but what about the traditional knife loving BF veterans that choose to not post here all the time?
If I had more spare time in my life, I’d probably spend more time here, but as of right now, the pretentiousness of a few in this thread make this place unwelcoming.

In case you were addressing me, I want to clarify that I wasn't offended or referring to your post at all. I think some people over the past day have been advocating to exclude newcomers or other groups of members to their own advantage on this--in other words, being selfish--and perhaps pretending it's something nobler than that.

The way that it has worked in past years - if you met the requirements, you could purchase a knife, if you did not, then it was taken on a case by case basis based on whatever criteria the mods agree on.

There are no preference points here and there are only a precious few who might deserve a knife over others (namely the volunteers who work for free on this endeavor). I don't know how GEC is going to approach fulfilling an order for us (i.e. minimum count, maximum count, timeline, etc.) But with the last GEC made Forum knife, Mike facilitated a sign up list and put in the final count to GEC. For those who want a knife and meet the requirements that get decided upon (BY THE MODS), there should be no fear of getting a knife.

(Unless, of course, things have drastically changed and I am speaking from unintentional ignorance)

Sorry if this has been answered already, but as mostly a reader of the forums as of late who has maintained a membership over the past 4 years I wonder how many members there are like myself who would love one of the knives but are wondering if they will be allowed to purchase one. Ive at times had more to say in the forums but as of late have been more a watcher, does that make me less a forum member because I prefer to read what others are saying and learn and only speak when I have something to share or add. I guess it all boils down to what is considered a Blade forums member? Someone who pays? Someone who posts? Someone who learns?

Last I remember There’s the minimum post count requirement to be met, with some exceptions for veterans..:)
Post count here, or on Bladeforums at a whole?
I’d love one of these because it’s a great frame and it represents Bladeforums.
