The Walking Dead season 6 *spoiler alert* Read at own risk!

One kind of off topic thing, I heard a few folks (not here so much) make fun of the leather jacket. Am I wrong to think that the leather may be helpful in preventing zombie bites? That far into the zombie apocalypse one would think that some sort of road warrior type of anti zombie armor would be devised.

The Governor's right hand man Milton duct taped the sleeves on a jacket to use as protection. Merle made fun of it but it actually saved him from getting bit when they went walker fetching.

I'd want some definitely want some sort of protection. Motorcycle riders wear leather to help reduce road rash so i would think that it'd help against zombie bites. At least better than regular clothes.

I think that as the show progresses it's not as much of a necessity as the experienced characters are apt at taking down single and smaller groups of zeds. Hordes are a different matter and at that point running would be a better option.
The Alexandria folks could use some though.

I don't think they had much of a chance to grab things when they left the prison. Good idea though, but it would probably get pretty heavy after a while.

You are not the only one. I have my TG in hand every episode. In fact sometimes I get up and pretend stab walkers in the tv set. Sure I'm a dork.....but I'm a dork with a Busse TG.

:D Hey, dorks with Busses rule!!! I have never gotten up and pretended to stab walkers, but I do sit in my chair with my TGLB in hand while watching the show. For that matter, I watch several other shows with my TGLB in hand or on the arm of the chair!!!

Anybody catch how the lady that has taken on the role as the town doctor saved (at least temporarily)her patient from flat lining by using a syringe to drain his infected bite wound? Possible cure in site?

Was that a bite wound or a wound from the Wolves' attack? Missed that--

You know, you may be right about that. Either way, it kind of seemed like the infection was going to be what took him and she held it off.

Yep. I'm pretty sure he got shot by a stray bullet from one of the inept Alexandria citizens!

Also, my girlfriend showed me something on AMC's website that shows the actual make and model of one characters weapon each episode. I'll see if I can grab a shot

When the zombie apocalypse comes, I'll be wearing my Langlitz Leathers motorcycle jacket. It might not be much good in the vampire apocalypse (limited neck protection), but there's no way a zombie's going to bite through it. Pretty good protection against wolves as well.

I've need wondering about .22's on the show! Glenn used one back in season 5

Watched Z Nation last night. Now those people and the Indians know how to handle a "herd"! They were much more efficient at it that our TWD crew! Granted, the TWD crew doesn't have the Grand Canyon around, but a little more creative thinking would have been better than Ricks failed plan!:D
