Just saw the episode again and when Daryl stabbed the walker under glass the pommel looked like that same blood diamond piece of junk.

Anyone else find it odd that a U.S. soldier is carrying around an RPG? Guess it scripts better than a LAWS or what ever our equivalent weapon is these days.

Its a zombie apocalypse... that's what you find odd?
I think its funny that the walkers never really cause the group (or the audience) any anxiety or alarm, until the writers WANT them too. Like when Daryl was struggling to get his Xbow out of the duffle bag. Was it really necessary to risk getting bit, when he easily could have grabbed the bag and backed up a few yards?
Also, I always wonder: To what level of decay is a "walker" still a threat? I hate to attempt to add any realism to a scenario that requires so much suspension of disbelief, but some of the walkers are practically walking skeletons. By that theory, why is a completely burnt walker no longer a threat?
Intact nerve fibers equals danger.
Fwiw, my son has a friend who is one of those "scour the internet for spoilers" kind of folks. He says Glen ain't dead, be prepared for a lot of big plot twists. Ymmv, however, as I have not been verifying any of it.
