The Walking Dead season 6 *spoiler alert* Read at own risk!

Has anybody else noticed if Daryl is still wearing his wing vest or is it just so dirty the wings aren't very noticeable anymore?

I hope that this wasn't mentioned earlier in the thread and I missed it, but did anyone notice this in episode 6 ?

Anybody else worried that Norman Reedus getting his new show about motorcycles might mean the end of Daryl?

Not worried. Cuz that is pretty much what is happening. I have a feeling this is Norman's last TWD season. Something about Lucille and Daryl's head rings a bell.

This season has been so damn good so far. I look forward to it every Friday in anticipation of watching it before bed on Sunday!

If they thought Glenn caused an uproar, wait until they kill off Daryl. I would hate to see him go, but it's dangerous living in the zombie apocalypse.

I personally don't really see why Daryl is so loved. He barely talks. He doesn't really do much. Especially the last couple of seasons he's been really absent. I know I'll get crap for it, but to me if he goes it wouldn't make much difference in my opinion.

They should really kill off Morgan. He's annoying. Horrible and over the top lame and u believable actor. He really ruins the universe for me. He's just a crappy actor.

Glenn is a relatively small potato relative to Daryl but at the same time with the exception of Carl, Sasha, and Morgan there isn't much left to do with the main cast. It seems to me they've all completed their big transformation arcs. Carol is regressing if anything.

To me the interesting thing to the story has always been character development, and after all they've been through it will really take some insane circumstances to push more change in them.

I think that Daryl is the constant that keeps the whole series connected. Everyone else has changed so much that they aren't the same people that they were in the beginning. Daryl is still pretty much the same, just a little friendlier and a whole lot dirtier.

Something I noticed when Carol shot the guy at the beginning. Maggie was between her and the guy but Carol drew a bead on him but before shooting she shifted her aim (I presume she was going for a head shot) and shot him in the shoulder. No we all know by now that anything but a head shot may incapacitate but even if it is a fatal would you will have to dispatch them when they turn and then you've wasted two rounds instead of just one.

I wonder if, as part of her characters changing attitude she made a conscious decision to wound rather than kill? Given current events and the soon to escalate events with the Saviors this more caring, Carol will get her or someone else killed. She's potentially becoming her own worst enemy. That being said I thought Carol did a great job of thinking on her feet with the whole hyperventilating thing and the crucifix. she must carry little "props" if you will just to cover these types of situations. Either that or she really has taken to religion. Still thought it was pretty imaginative on her part.

I got to agree with you there on Morgan. I tried to like him but he makes me want to scream at the TV way too much. After Carol got her connection last week I thought he days would be closing in. It seems when any character faces happiness that is when something horrible happens to them or the person they love. It is almost getting like Star Trek and that poor "crew member" who beamed down with the Kirk. You just know he was going to die. Well in the TWD it is that person that one the mains fall in love with. They will soon die.

I kind of agree here, but admittedly I still really like the guy. I think Daryl's presence is a lot less important to the series (for lack of better words) than it used to be. Considering how many more characters there are, as well as the ways they develop so dynamically throughout the story, losing Daryl isn't the deal-breaker for me that it used to be. During the dark days of season 3 and some of 4, Daryl's development and presence (fleeting as it may be) was one of the few things that kept me still watching. Losing him at that point would have probably killed my interest in keeping up with the show - not so much anymore...but having said that, I'm going to be pretty gutted when he does inevitably go - I don't see his character developing much beyond dying unless maybe Carol dies. Considering his and Carol's relationship, I feel like the writers would get some potentially good character-development-ammo for the surviving member of that duo if one of them was killed off...

The way the writers develop characters on TWD keeps things pretty interesting for me - I don't think I've ever had such volatile and constantly changing opinions of characters as I have with this show...and because of that, I'd actually like to see Morgan stick around if for no reason other than to see how he changes - I'm very interested to see where he goes. I really like that he is on whatever trip he's on right now even if I find myself irritated with him - I sometimes appreciate that in a TV character. Considering his presence and importance season 1, I was invested in his return for a pretty long time, so as much as he may bother me I'd hate to see him get killed off so soon after coming back.

I thought she got the cross off of the body that was dragged across the floor.

..... that was what I saw, the female Walker that was in the room when they first entered. I think Carol hooked it with her foot as the other dragged it out.
