The Walking Dead season 6 *spoiler alert* Read at own risk!

.....I don't see his character developing much beyond dying unless maybe Carol dies. Considering his and Carol's relationship, I feel like the writers would get some potentially good character-development-ammo for the surviving member of that duo if one of them was killed off....
I have been thinking the same thing. Plus it would be the perfect way to tie into the spin off show later on. Carol dies badly, in front of Daryl. Daryl goes on a killing spree and then goes all emo again like he did after Beth died, hops on his bike and rides off into the sunset (west) all by himself. A few seasons down the road on Fear the Walking Dead, Daryl hits the west coast and meets up with that cast.

I'm still firmly in the "if Daryl dies, we riot" camp. In all seriousness, I think the producers are writing him more out of the central action in order to kill him off. They do that. The producers are there to f*** with your mind. Well, to he** with that. He's better equipped than any of them, with the possible exception of Carol, to survive. That hasn't changed at any point in the series. So, in all seriousness, Darlyl goes, I'm done with the series.

Now, if they do this whole disappearing act, to have him show up in FTWD, that would be a different story. But I think if they killed him off, I wouldn't even finish the episode in which it happened. But that's just me, and my protest against the producers' mind f***.

I got to agree with you there on Morgan. I tried to like him but he makes me want to scream at the TV way too much. After Carol got her connection last week I thought he days would be closing in. It seems when any character faces happiness that is when something horrible happens to them or the person they love. It is almost getting like Star Trek and that poor "crew member" who beamed down with the Kirk. You just know he was going to die. Well in the TWD it is that person that one the mains fall in love with. They will soon die.

The way he delivers his lines is just aweful and seems so forced and over the top. Whenever I seen him I have the instant urge to fast foward to the next part. I hate him that much. The best episode with him in it was the one with the guy with the stick. It was only decent because Morgan didn't talk lol

I don't know if you guys have seen the show on AMC with him and Gale Bediker from Breaking Bad...I can't remember the name of the show...it was a cop show based in Detroit....but anyway, Morgan and Gale really ruined that show. Morgan for his horrible over the top acting....and Gale (hes a wuss and portrays a huge wuss) being cast as an aggressive powerful internal investigations officer...wow what a bad casting call that was...I could never take him seriously.

And to the guy that said Daryl should take off for the west coast and met up with Fear The Walking Dead....great idea!!

I was against all this zombie stuff but somehow I watched a few reruns before this season started and watch it now. I have to admit it's a good show. Still don't know what the hell is going on though.

Sosa, you have to got back to season one and watch in order. Will make more sense, and more enjoyable

Really, he isn't any better equipped than the rest of the gang anymore. In the beginning he was but everyone else has come up to his level. I don't know why but something has always made me wonder about his vest. Those wings. Like he's the groups guardian angel. Maybe he was never intended to die in the series. People say he isnt in the comic so they can do whatever they want with him. I'm still hoping that he heads west. Lord knows that group could use some help.

I dunno if I agree they're up to his level. Rick may be a little close. But sometimes he goes a little Shane. Sometimes it seems Rick is in a "'roid rage," whereas when it comes down to doing business, Daryl seems to be more emotionless about it. Just roll in, slice the guy's throat to the spine, drag him in the weeds, and move on to next target. He and Michonne are two sides of the same coin, in my opinion. She is similar. Sasha seems to be PTSD'd out, Carol is losing her edge, Abraham is clumsy. ....

Morgan is a liability.

For some reason, I can see the possibility of Paul taking on Daryl's roll.

... she said this was the case during her discussion with Maggie toward the end of the episode.

I must have missed that. I'll re-watch it and look for that part. Thanks.

Not sure that wounding someone is doing them a favor. In the world they are living in there really isn't a nonfatal gunshot wound. Chances are it will kill you sooner or later given the overall lack of medical treatment. Was one of the Saviors killed a doctor or something? I seem to recall the wounded guy that Carol shot saying something about needing someone in the compound to treat him. Then again I'm not doing well on attention to detail lately so perhaps I misunderstood something he said.

..... that was what I saw, the female Walker that was in the room when they first entered. I think Carol hooked it with her foot as the other dragged it out.

I thought she pulled it out of her pants leg from some kind of a pocket. That makes more sense than her carrying it, just in case. She saw it and thought up a plan on the fly.

OK, watching it again and Carol did pull it out of her pocket. What I missed was the part before that were she pulled it towards her from where it was laying on the floor and then put it in her pocket.

By "up to his level" I mean that they don't really need the group to survive. Any one of them could strike off on their own and make it, any one of them could hold their own in a fight, and any one of them could spearhead a rescue mission. They each have their own issues and ways about getting stuff done but I'd say that they are all pretty much up to Daryls level of kickassery.

If the writers stick to the way things are written then Jesus>Daryl.

Personally I'm excited about the Dwight Daryl showdown. For those that do not know Daryl is not In the original and is based off of Dwight in the books. Now I've not read the books but spent a lot of time researching them online and I think I have a pretty good idea of what's going on.

As far as Morgan goes, please meet Lucille . I doubt it though as they need the meeting with Lucille to be a a character people like and seems like everyone hates morgan. Personally if he went back to crazy right on the walls and see people wear people's faces Morgan itd at least make for better t.v.

I seem to be in the minority, but I actually like Morgan as a character and think that he has taken an interesting path regarding his philosophy. Each time we've seen him he has been in a different state with a different world view.

I liken his conflict with Carol as similar to the differing views of Shane and Dale. Each on one end of the spectrum. Per the last episode, it looks as though Carol may be sliding back to middle ground. We'll see what is in store for Morgan.

Not saying I agree with all of his decisions. They definitely should have offed the wolf. Yet, in a world where the strong survive, I would prefer to see the strong with a conscience on top instead of the strong that wants to rape and murder.

Good season so far.

I wonder how big Neegan's group is? Darryl took out 6 as I recall with the RPG. Carol and Maggie took out six in the latest episode + 1 for Rick at the end makes 13. They must have killed what, 8-10, maybe 12 on the raid on their compound in the previous episode so that's close to two dozen. If Alexandria lost that many right now they'd be down to next to nothing. With the weapons they just acquired I'd think they could fully arm Alexandria and the Hilltop group and take on just about anything short of a National Guard company.

Maggie told Jesus they had more than 54 when he broke out of the "jail" house.
