I dont care if its 10 or 15 years down the road, when Jaxx finally cracks the Vault & starts selling, I hope Im around to get at least 1 of His BOSC ID (Thats All Im Hoping for) lol
 
Holy moley! Now that's beast!!! Wouldn't mind having one of those if and when the zombie apocalypse goes down lol. But all jokes aside this things a behemoth. Bad A$$!!!
 
I kinda thought that Jerry posting identical one like im waiting on, will take away an element of surprise or would make me want it to come less, but it didnt lol

$1,400 is a bit overpriced for a knife that has very little utility purpose imo... you can buy 3.5 BB13 combat grades for the same price lol

A $500,000 farrari is a lot to pay for a car, you can buy 40 bullet bikes... lol. We like it cause there is something special about it..
 
I have a monster kukri 10mm thick an 14" long blade..an I find it more useful than all the smaller ones.. huge knives are quite handy..imho

Hello to my Newbie Friend.

Please allow me to give you a bit of advice. Please take it or leave it.

When a fellow BF member and Busse fan puts up a pic of his/her latest pride and joy, you have a several choices. You could congratulate them. You could say, 'very cool. waiting for mine'. You could say, 'that thing is a beast!' You could say, 'love those scales'. You could say, 'cool pic!'

You could say, 'that knife is stupid'

But why?

This forum is intended as an extended community to share our collective enjoyment on the Bussekin knives. When your fellow member shares a new happy thing, one does not have to rain on his parade. I see many knives here across BF that I personally don't like. My response depends on the context of the thread. If someone posts, 'here is my cool new knife!', and I don't like it, well, then, I choose to not piss on his post. But if someone asks, 'what do you think about Busse edge angles, or this knife, or, this steel, or...'; then I am happy to share my frank opinion because it was asked for.

Play nice, make friends, build community; that's what this forum is for.



Now, to the rest of you, when you post 'here is my cool new knife!; please do not assume that my non-answer is in some way a judgement. After 10 years here, I don't necessarily post in every thread. I could be tired. I could be drinking. I could be happy for you, but don't feel like posting. Enjoy your new knife, as I do mine, and continue to enjoy, and build, enjoy this community.

What, other than a complete lack of good taste, would cause you to say that in this thread? Somebody is excited about their new knife and you decide that it would be a good idea to rain on their parade? It's fine that the knife isn't for you, it certainly isn't for everyone. I'm extra surprised for you to complain about practical utility since I remember you implying in another thread that you don't use most of your Busse's. :foot:
 
What draws many of us to a blade like WTF is that it is part of the "masculine extreme continuum".. the continuum that drew guys to jump out of an airplane for fun, run liquid nitro in a 6k hp hemi, or make a giant truck to run over cars with... its that irresistible temptation to say "why the hell not" ...along with many Busse blades, WTF finds itself a proud part of the masculine extreme continuum...an I love it:D
