I didn't realize the actual of that thing from the specs. I'll net that will chop like nobody's business! Anyone used one yet? Looks like it will compete with the Killa Zilla and MOAB for chopping honors. Gorgeous blade!

Had I not been at Disney World getting monetarily sodomized by Mickey and friends I would have been all over this awesome blade when it was available.

Just be ready..a few are bound to pop up for purchase..they will be expensive.. but it will be the knife equivalent to driving a 1971 hemi cuda around..

Hello to my Newbie Friend.

Please allow me to give you a bit of advice. Please take it or leave it.

When a fellow BF member and Busse fan puts up a pic of his/her latest pride and joy, you have a several choices. You could congratulate them. You could say, 'very cool. waiting for mine'. You could say, 'that thing is a beast!' You could say, 'love those scales'. You could say, 'cool pic!'

You could say, 'that knife is stupid'

But why?

This forum is intended as an extended community to share our collective enjoyment on the Bussekin knives. When your fellow member shares a new happy thing, one does not have to rain on his parade. I see many knives here across BF that I personally don't like. My response depends on the context of the thread. If someone posts, 'here is my cool new knife!', and I don't like it, well, then, I choose to not piss on his post. But if someone asks, 'what do you think about Busse edge angles, or this knife, or, this steel, or...'; then I am happy to share my frank opinion because it was asked for.

Play nice, make friends, build community; that's what this forum is for.

Now, to the rest of you, when you post 'here is my cool new knife!; please do not assume that my non-answer is in some way a judgement. After 10 years here, I don't necessarily post in every thread. I could be tired. I could be drinking. I could be happy for you, but don't feel like posting. Enjoy your new knife, as I do mine, and continue to enjoy, and build, enjoy this community.

Let's Drink!

Well said.

Be careful with your wtf, it looks pretty fragile to be honest.... ;)

But seriously, that is an impressive truckload hunk of infi
Enjoy!!

So cool. I was late to the train station, so I'll have to settle for an infi B13.

I love it when lurkers come out of hiding to post.

IMHO, in no way is the B13 'settling for something'

It and the WTF are simply different blades.

$1,400 is a bit overpriced for a knife that has very little utility purpose imo... you can buy 3.5 BB13 combat grades for the same price lol

Lets put this in perspective...
The Dead, yeah, they're awesome. Seen 'em a bunch.
But you could see Splintered Sunlight like 3 times for the price of Dead & company... 4-5 times if ya drove, and have to park your car.
Ya dig, China_Cat_Sunflower? ;)

OhioJerry, nice blade man. It's really like nothing else out there. It's probably what Thor would carry if he could forge his hammer into a blade!

I'll take your analogy one step further,, I wouldn't go to a Dead show if you GAVE me tickets,, just not my cup of tea.
Different folks different strokes.

Dude's screen name is the title of a GD song. That's why I posted that. Let's not get into musical tastes, or lack thereof, on someone else's thread. ;):D Cool?

Sorry, my tone maybe didn't come through :D
I knew that,, I was trying build on your point that what may be worth a lot to you, may not be worth anything to someone else..
I actually like the Dead, but was trying to make a point. I spent a whole summer mowing lawns with Casey Jones in my walkman

LOL, I was just crackin' wise wit ya on that. :)
My musical tastes run pretty much from heavy metal to bluegrass, and even some house, techno, rap/hip hop, funk, etc. Not into country or western...but Johnny Cash would be an exception there, sure if I thought hard enough there are a few others too. :)

Anyone else got some tasty WTF pix yet? :D
