Got some comparison pics of my pure maiden of a Wasp and that no-good, rotten, fish prepping, Shank that I got from Joe Duder.

In this picture, the wedding dress sort of makes the Wasp's butt look big, don't ya think?

Some under shots. The Wasp is 3/16" whereas the Shank is 5/32.

The Wasp is 2014 manufacture. I am not sure about the Shank, but I think it is early 2014 or late 2013. Joe can correct me here if I am wrong. When holding and comparing these two knives, I am still very much drawn to the Wasp. The added handle near the guard just seems to accentuate the curviness, and it provides for a very secure purchase for a thrusting motion. I am nit picking here as the Shank is very comfortable in hand, secure grip and feels very much like the Wasp, but if I could only have only one, my vote is still with the Wasp. That may change with use and carry, but that is where I reside today.
